It feels like there has never been a more exciting time for science and technology — after all, who can forget the excitement the day the Large Hadron Collider launched, or the queues of people waiting to get their hands on the first iPad.
However, despite this passion for innovation, there is an emerging shortage of staff with skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (Stem) — and employers fear they will be unable to recruit students with these qualifications under their belt in the future. Read more.....
